A few years ago someone on E. Fir St. got a roof-over permit for their mobile home. It was quickly changed to a full enclosure. When the city was asked about this, they required them to get a sun-room permit. Since the new home was completed, nothing more was required.
About a year ago a man from out of state bought a lot on E. Dogwood St. Before he could get a permit to place a mobile home on it, he was told he would have to comply with code. He had to have a setback of 25 ft., etc.
A few months ago another person was allowed to place a mobile home on E. Dogwood St., no set back was required, etc. When asked about this they responded with reference to mobile home park requirements (this hasn’t been a mobile home park for maybe 20 years more or less).
Mobile home parks are required to have a set-back of 4 ft. When told this mobile home does not have a setback of 4 ft. our city hall people told me the setback is from the edge of the pavement in the road and not the property line. Can you believe this?
When it was mentioned there was no pavement to measure from they shut up and refused to discuss the matter further.
Honesty in Nolanville city hall? You believe there is? Let me tell you about some alpine property for sale about 23 miles southeast of Miami Florida that I heard about. Low price if you hurry to buy.
